Portland Market with Dana Brooks

Dana Brooks, Co-Owner and Head Designer at My Lazy Daisy recently returned from Portland, OR where we had a booth at the Portland Market. Hold on to your seats because we have A LOT of pictures for you today! Portland was AMAZING, and you get to be there with us every step of the way. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show as we walk you through our experience at the Portland Market.

We all know that nothing "incredible" comes easy, so it's time to get to  work. Lets get unloading!

From trailer to this...pretty good transformation eh?
If you stopped by in Portland and visited Dana at our booth you were served a  "Sugar and Spice" cookie (you might know it as a snickerdoodle).

In case you were wondering, "Sugar and Spice" is the latest and greatest Henry Glass fabric line designed by the ever-creative Dana Brooks. This darling new line is featured in the bright and happy booth display pictured above and below.

Sugar and Spice will be available THIS SEPTEMBER! To catch a sneek peek you can visit henryglassfabrics.com

Moving on to the Shannon Fabrics House display.
Did you know that Dana designs beautiful fabrics for them as well?
Just a box you say? Guess again......

Ah yes... Things are starting to come togther.

Welcome to our "humble" abode. Won't you come inside?!
If you are not amazed enough by the pictures, then maybe you ought to know that EVERYTHING is made from Shannon Cuddle! Yep, for real!  Right down to the walls, sofas, pillows, rugs, wall hangings...EVERYTHING!

If you can't take the heat..... then come on into the kitchen and enjoy the lovely scenery!

Take a snooze in the master bedroom

Sing a lullaby in the nursery

Saddle up for  this cowboy themed boy room.

Enjoy some leisurely chit chat in the living room. Then........
........TEAR IT ALL DOWN!

When it's all over, girlfriends and Shannon employees help take it all apart. Carol and Debra are down right exhausted!

It was a great trip!  There are some beautiful fabrics from both Henry Glass and Shannon Fabrics that have made their way into our exclusive My Lazy Daisy kits and fabric by the yard.  We won't settle for anything but the very highest quality of fabrics in our products because we know they create beautiful heirlooms for you and your loved ones.
